Rockin' Girl ~ Kamloops Child Photographer

I’ve been lucky to get to photograph Sadie multiple times in her short life…. starting with a great Maternity session complete with fingerpaint and graffiti.  Then I got to be one of the first people to welcome her into the world during her Birth session and last summer I came through town and we returned to the location of the Maternity session to shoot her 1 year old portraits

Even though I am living way too many hours away now, her Mom and I still managed to get together to take her 2 year old portraits.  We got all packed up…outfits, props, camera, etc… and headed to our favorite spot, the same parkade as the previous 3 years and guess what!?!?  The stairwell was boarded up and all the great graffiti was painted over in a super boring grey.  We were dumbfounded!

We still got great shots though and it was so fun seeing how much Sadie has changed in one year!  Here’s a sneak peak!

Fit by Design ~ Kamloops Fitness Photography

Recently I got to head out with a bunch of ladies to document them getting their butts kicked…lol.  It was Bootcamp night and it was hot and stormy!  We had a lot of laughs (it is very hard to exercise and try to be photogenic at the same time) and got some great shots for Sabrina, the owner of Fit by Design.

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the evening.  Fit by Design is currently running a Wellness & Fitness Challenge in Kamloops, BC for Moms!  The challenge includes a bootcamp style fitness portion and a health & wellness portion and the winner will recieve a free Bootcamp Session ($150 value) and be featured in the new Kamloops Momma Magazine!

{ Tiny }

Is this not the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen… aside of course from super cute babies….lol

One of my new gift products and pictures really don’t do it justice to show how really tiny it is.  It is about the size of a Toonie and holds 13 images.

G Scape... all the tiny parts

Here is more of the session for Shalyn and Jarrod.

I have to say that they have the family that I expected to have.  When we decided to have three children I could only imagine having three little boys…and maybe that thought was from well before that.  It seems that there have always been little boys….ever since my little brother was born.  Ulitimately I felt like I was the mom of boys…lol.  It didn’t bother me to not have a girl.  Now that I have her I wouldn’t give her back for anything, but I still see three brothers and think how nice it might have been ( I know…I know… three boys can bring a lot of noise, craziness, etc….but still!)

Shalyn found the very best “Brother” shirts for the boys, hopefully we’ll get a chance to use them for pictures in the future!

Here are some of the tiny parts of Baby G

We really wanted to take Baby in a Bowl pictures….but G didn’t think our idea was as great as we did…and the bowl was a little small….lol

Fun in the Sun

Here’s some of what we’ve been up to lately.

In all of the years that Keith and I have been together we’ve never gone camping.  The kids have never been camping.  The closest we’ve been is living in the camper for 10 days when we went to visit Keith on a job.  Not the same thing.  So in a bid to have some fun family time we have gone out a couple times this summer and the boys have decided that they want to live here….or at least they did til we went to the waterslides at Bridal Falls…now they want to live there…lol

Q’s first go at tubing….he loved it.  As you might suspect….Huddy did not participate in this potentially dangerous activity.

Soother to try to plug the Rock Chomper.

First ever fishing trip…..10 lbs fish later we had a group of very impressed little boys.

Meet Baby G.  He is 6 days old here….with what is sure to be his good buddy.

Happy Father's Day!

It’s been a while since my little monsters were on the blog….especially the boys!  So here they are!  I hope that everyone has a great Father’s Day.

A little more dance...

Here are the sneak peaks of the two little girls from this week.  They were so cute and so into dancing and having their picture taken!  They practiced their smiles and their routines and they were perfect!

Old School Special!

I’ll start this out by saying I really, really (yes….really, really, really) want to do a Trash the Dress Session!  So in light of that I thought it might be the perfect time to bring back my old Portfolio Building pricing.  So if you just recently got married, if you got married forever ago and your dress is just sitting around or if you just gradded (or can still fit into your grad dress…lol) this is for you.  The special is $75 for it all!  Session fee and all the images on disc.  It really doesn’t get any better than that!

If you have no idea what I am talking about, but think it sounds interesting, send me an email.

This special will only extend to the first confirmed booking!

Tiny Dancer

Here is a few more shots for last week.  The girls were cute…they were crazy….they were super excited for their dance recital!
